I've been buying my tires at Costco for years. Prices couldn't be beat, especially when they have a sale. Got a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2s for a minimum 400 less than anywhere else.
I live in Colorado and last fall I got Michelin CrossClimate 2s for my VB. Great tires! They worked beautifully all winter with the snow that we had (along with several trips up to the slopes) and also worked great with all of the rain this spring/summer.
I just bought a set of Michelin CrossClimate 2, which are arguably the best all-season tire out right now.
Just tried out Sullivan Tire for the first time. Got a good deal on a set of Michelin's, they were running a free install promo.
Ideally get a winter and summer set of wheels to have maximum performance during all of the seasons but if you want to run an all season tire like I am the Michelin pilot sport all season 4 is great.
Their nothing fancy but it’s the x-ice tires and it worked great in the snow this past winter!
I had sumitomo and then changed to falkens they have good grip and is spirted driving approved.
I currently have a set of Falkens on my SUV and they are much better than the Continental tires that were on it prior.
These are cool looking... notably the tires are not as good for street riding and you can replace them with those sweet michelin city grips. The brake pads are also not so thick on these so keep an eye on them.
Thoughts on CrossClimate2 for San Francisco/CA climate? Considering these for 2020 Kia Niro EV to replace current OEM Michelin Primacy MXV4, which we have found to be terribly un-grippy in rain.
