I'm in ironman gen 2 from tire discounters all 4, i got all the tires and the mount and a alignment and balancing for like 400$ bucks with the deal they run. And a free oil change. But the ironmans have done me well they did good in rain and snow and i haven't exactly been nice to them, handled potholes too.

Pros: good in rain and snow

I thought they must be crap but after looking into them, they are very well-reviewed. A traction A temp, UHP (ultra-high performance) rated. I like them. You could pay $400/tire for a premium brand but they won't be 4 times better or last 4 times longer.

Pros: very well-reviewed, traction A temp, UHP rated, good value

Ironman and milemaker are the last two sets and they lasted about 75% of what a premium brand would.

Money forced my hand a couple summers back and I had to put new front tires on my Grand Marquis at the time. Had to go cheap and bought Ironman iMove all seasons. After a few months the only positives on the ledger were that a) they had tread and b) oddly, they balanced out unbelievably well. 80 MPH on the highway, smooth as glass. Ride and handling quality deteriorated quickly from new and they got loud in a hurry.

Pros: balanced well, smooth at speed
Cons: deteriorated quickly, got loud

This tire is new Iron Man. This is the second chunk missing; the other tire was replaced under warranty. It’s new, maybe 2 months old.

Cons: chunks missing, warranty replacement
