I'm in ironman gen 2 from tire discounters all 4, i got all the tires and the mount and a alignment and balancing for like 400$ bucks with the deal they run. And a free oil change. But the ironmans have done me well they did good in rain and snow and i haven't exactly been nice to them, handled potholes too.

I thought they must be crap but after looking into them, they are very well-reviewed. A traction A temp, UHP (ultra-high performance) rated. I like them. You could pay $400/tire for a premium brand but they won't be 4 times better or last 4 times longer.

Pros: very well-reviewed, traction A temp, UHP rated, good value

Ironman and milemaker are the last two sets and they lasted about 75% of what a premium brand would.

I myself also have allseason, Fulda Multicontrol. So far in those conditions you described they perform allright, but you need to be careful. I’m still not fully convinced to take them to direct snow since I have tried to cross some purely snowy areas and they get stuck.

Pros: perform alright, need care
Cons: get stuck in snow

This tire is new Iron Man. This is the second chunk missing; the other tire was replaced under warranty. It’s new, maybe 2 months old.

Cons: chunks missing, warranty replacement
