Tires Falken or Vredestein

I have Walken Wildpeaks A/T 255/55-18 Tires on my 23 MYP. Bought from Tsportline with their overland pkg. Not much range hit and no need to change any speedo.

I’ve been liking my wildpeaks at4s. Haven’t had damage off-roading only puncture I’ve had was a roof nail on the road.

I have the same tires. On smaller aftermarket rims but they’ve been a great tire. I’ll get the same tires again this spring.

One of my stock tires finally decided to kick the bucket, so I replaced them with a set of Falken Wildpeak A/T Trails. So far I like them, they’re the same size as the stock tires, but the handling is superb (especially in rain and on gravel). A little more road noise and a bit of reduction in gas mileage, but I’m cool with it.

I went with Wildpeak AT Trail because highway driving is my priority, with occasional drives on the beach and gentle Forest Service roads. I see a lot of soft-roading in this sub-reddit they can handle.

the VREDESTEIN QUATRAC are 129 and served me very well. great in snow. technically an all season tire and they are a tiny bit loud. great tire though. great lifespan and if you’re having heavy snow and rain they work fantastically for VT winters

I've only tried one set so far. Falken azenis RT 660+. So far they are awesome. They are almost too sticky tbh. There is a intersection i like to slide through and with these I have to really stay in throttle hard to get it going or small clutch kick helps.

I absolutely loved my wildpeaks, yea, the ride is slightly harsher, but I do a fair amount of offroad driving and snow driving, so I'm ok with that. That being said I found 2 issues, 1, they got loud as hell about halfway through their lifecycle, like, to the point id reconsider buying again, 2. They stated cracking and chipping really bad at about 6 years.

My Crosstrek Limited came with the same Falkens. They were performing poorly in the wet when only half worn. I replaced them at 23k miles when they had 4/32" before winter.
