Tires BRIDGESTONE or WEST LAKE

BRIDGESTONE Tires

Just gave the Weatherpeaks a solid test in snow and ice on a road trip through Seattle and Oregon. On my 2021 CX-5 Signature they performed quite well.

Pros: performed quite well

I personally have Bridgestone Revo 3 on my truck. Best non-snow tire I’ve ever driven in the snow and rain, they ride and steer much better than any other all terrain and I’ve never needed more off road performance.

Pros: best non-snow tire
Mileage: 60000 km

Was my favourite tyre. I tried the sc and the r11s back to back and felt much more confident on the r11s. I had less front wheel movement under braking and less slide from the rear so stuck with them

Pros: more confident, less movement

For MPG we had good results with the Bridgestone ecopia ep422 , we’ve since switched over to a tire that has better snow performance after using those up.

Pros: good MPG results
Cons: switched for snow performance

I've had my Bridgestone Weatherpeaks for several months now...absolutely love them.

Great ride, very quiet, great wet and dry performance.

Just had our first real dump (and a nasty one at that) of snow with a good layer of ice underneath (it rained for two days prior to the snow). Ive been driving around for the last couple days thoroughly impressed with the snow and ice performance of these tires. I had guys ahead of me slipping and sliding almost right through a 4 way stop and my Seltos didn't even kick on the ABS when I came up to it. Any slippage in corners and on acceleration seemed very gradual and easily controllable. They have been very confidence inspiring in the crap weather we have just had...I would highly recommend them.

Pros: great wet and dry performance
Vehicle: Kia

The best all weathers for snow/ice are the General Altimax 365 and the Bridgestone Weatherpeak. These are very good choices for winter biased all weathers. While they won't be quite as good as the best dedicated snow tires, they will be as good or better than an average snow tire.

Pros: very good choices
Cons: not as good snow tires

I went with the Ecopia 422+ on my 2013, replacing my stock tires. Range has been good (if not a little better), and the ride is MUCH quieter than the stock tires. Like I didn't realize how loud the road noise was until it was gone.

Pros: quiet ride, good range
Cons: range a little better

The Bridgestone RE780 AS is another excellent tire- I'd say it's nearly as good as the Michelin, definitely better than the BFG. Where it falls down is cost- it's about the same price as the Michelin PS A/S line of all seasons and does not have the same performance. Great in the dry, great in the wet- the dry grip is not as good as the Michelin.

Pros: excellent, great in dry, great in wet
Cons: high cost, dry grip not as good as Michelin

Mine came with the bridge stones. They are a little noisier than I would like and they certainly don't offer the traction I want.

Cons: little noisier, poor traction
