Honestly, for that run rate, any good tire brand works. Bridgestone, MRF, Ceat.
Blizzaks are the best for snow, x-ice are the best for ice. Depends on how you drive. If you’re late breaking all the time then you want x-ice for better braking grip, if you drive slow in the winter and plan your stops then blizzaks will have better acceleration traction.
I’ve been driving a Honda CRV with Bridgestone Blizzaks and haven’t had any issues.
I vote for ws-90, those tires are unstoppable in our Ontario winters. Had them on my old mk4, my e60 550i bmw, and will be getting some now for my 7.5 GTI
So glad I made the move. The scorpions were awful and loud. Very happy with our GYs and they still look more like an AT but we have definitely had an efficiency increase
I got Bridgestone blizzaks there for my truck after tax it was $ 1,100 for 4 tires in 2024.
From personal experience - go for Bridgestone Turanza 6i.
I liked Ecopias, I had them twice on my 2013 and thought I got the best fuel economy out of those, however they only lasted like 60k of highway driving, and aren’t the quietest.
I have a 2024 nissan pathfinder platinum. Has Bridgestone ALENZA. Dog shit tires. The car has 28k miles. Rotated the tires every oil change about 4-5k miles. And there toast.
Bridgestones are meh and overpriced. Ecopias are just meh.
