Tires BFGoodrich or Laufenn

Laufenn Tires

I run a similar Laufenn on my 1 tonne work truck as my winter set up and they have been excellent. I actually have Laufenn on my sport truck, wifes mini cooper s and my work truck. All have been great. Good traction and well wearing.

Pros: good traction, well wearing

I am so glad these were worn out by the time I bought my stock used JK. The minute I put KO2s on there, my Jeep became a real vehicle.

Pros: Jeep became real vehicle
Vehicle: Jeep

I have the LT Lauffens on my Truck. Drive gravel daily. Same set now for 3+ years. Had passenger tires before and was getting constant flats. I have had zero flats since getting these. Could not recommend this brand enough.

Pros: zero flats, excellent tires

We run Falken Wilkpeak A/T3W on my wife’s Yukon and they are great. I had BF Goodrich A/T KO2s on my previous pickup and they were pretty good too. I’ve never owned Toyo tires before, so it’s a bit of a leap of faith, but the preliminary reviews I’m reading about the quality and efficiency of these EV specific all-terrains is promising. They look great!

Pros: pretty good

I’m a KO2 guy though. Off-road performance is unreal. The 10-ply are nearly indestructible. They drive great and mine have always stayed quiet(I know other people haven’t had that experience).

Downside of a KO2 10 ply is they are heavy and sap fuel economy.

Pros: Unreal off-road, indestructible, quiet, great drive
Cons: Heavy, poor fuel economy

KO2s for me have been excellent. They are quieter than the stock Goodyears for me, ride a little better and a ton more capable. Plus after 20k miles they aren’t showing any wear and only down 1/32nd so by that math they’re going to last a very long time.

I took a 1mpg hit going to them but that’s expected.

Pros: Quieter, better ride, very capable, long lasting
Cons: 1 MPG hit
Vehicle: Ford
Mileage: 32187 km

I’m just about to replace my KO2 265/70r17s. I put them on in 2018 and have 62,000 miles on them. They have been great - just avoid mud but that goes for all AT tires. Over the last year they got louder on highway and wet traction sucks right now due to wear.

Pros: great, long lasting
Cons: loud, bad wet traction
Mileage: 62000 km

Only have experience with the KO2s. They’re overpriced and get quite loud as they wear and sometimes have balancing issues, especially as they wear down. But I’ll be damned they last forever.

Pros: last forever
Cons: overpriced, balancing issues

Those are the worst tires I’ve ever had on an Outback and I don’t get why everyone wants or likes such insanely heavy stiff tires. They are also ansotkrkt horrible in winter on ice and snow and caused my car to slide and perform like crap.

Pros: heavy stiff tires
Cons: horrible in winter

Overpriced, overweight. I try to get the lightest weight tire in a given size that still looks decent. Hard to beat KO2s

Pros: looks decent
Cons: overpriced, overweight
