Tires BFGoodrich or Laufenn

BFGoodrich Tires

I have bf Goodrich GeForce comp 2 and they are fantastic in the rain. Not sure if they sell a size to fit the stock wheel but 205 45 16 only rubs on hard corners downhill and it’s lowered in coilovers

Pros: fantastic in the rain
Cons: rubs on hard corners

Yeah, keep rotating them and keep the alignment good. My BFG KO2s are holding up very well, having 40k miles on them.

Pros: holding up very well
Mileage: 64000 km

Put on 285/75/r17 KO3s. I didn’t add a lift or level kit, wanted to try it out first. Absolutely love the look and initial feel, can’t wait to try it in the snow this winter and sand next Spring.

Pros: love the look, good initial feel

Laufenn Tires

I have had laufenn z fit eq tyres for the last couple years and they are brilliant. Heaps of grip in the wet and the dry and I have had the grip to brake suddenly to avoid a couple accidents In that time.

Pros: heaps of grip

running KO2s on my FJ but like others are saying theyre not good when it rains. tried toyo at3 on my gx and i think theyre better on-road but they only lasted me couple years. i dont know.. i switched to hankoook dynapro extreme. i find the hankook more quiet than the toyos. very good onroad manners and wet traction

Pros: very good onroad manners
Cons: not good when it rains

Ko2 = great on rocks and most trails. Pretty bad if the trail will get muddy and clog up the tread blocks. <10k miles relatively quiet. 10k-40k loud Nearly indestructible though even with lots of sharp rocks. Neve punctured one. Lots of balancing problems. Thank 4wheelparts for free rotate and balance. AT3W= Similar experience in most terrain. Maybe mildly better on packed snow but id say it's a wash. Quieter over all for highway driving mine have about 30k on them now.

Pros: great on rocks, indestructible
Cons: bad in mud, balancing problems
Mileage: 40000 km

BFGoodrich Tires

The BF Goodrich MT/TA 255/75 R17 are the original tires on my JEEP Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Hard Rock which has only 24,000 easy miles on it. I have never been off road. At 24k miles they are badly worn and cupping and the noise has become unbearable.

Cons: badly worn, unbearable noise
Mileage: 38624 km

....and I'll throw in another vote for the Continental DWS 06. Also relevant to this thread - I bought my '11 Range Rover Sport in January, and it had Laufenn tires, the cheapest option on Tire Rack in the proper size. They had plenty of tread life but they were not great - noisy, not a lot of grip in any conditions - so first excuse I had, I swapped on the Continentals, and they are substantially better at everything.

Pros: substantially better at everything
Cons: noisy, not a lot of grip
Vehicle: Land Rover Range Rover Sport
