i just replaced my plugs and wires from ecs not too long ago. right around mid june. i got NGK plugs and wires, plug type was the one u listed there, i have an AVH. the wires i got were numbered wrong just a heads up to anyone that buys them.
I prefer the NGK 8 or 9's, running them at 19 psi gapped at .018.
I've left the plugs in and the car fells like it did before. I could have just become accustom to the way it feels now but that "sense of emergency" when I hit the peddle is back.
I am stage2+ and changed out the coilpacks at the same time that I went with NGK. I never did a side by side comparison, but so far i like the NGK's
i havent noticed any drop in performance..runs smoother though like you said, and a little better fuel econ too
I swapped out the plugs using the DIY thread for reference. The BKR6E have been fantastic so far. I can feel the difference in power band. I mash the throttle and there is very little hesitation. Prior to the install, the engine would think for a second, then go. Now, even right from the light, the car just want to "go".
PFR7Q. Hella expensive, but they last for 2 years and give absolutely no trouble.
i use bkr7e in my AWW 1.8t chipped, they work great
im still running the NGK BKR7E's at a .026 gap with 11 psi, they do foul quickly but I plan to keep changing them every oil change.
I went out bought the NGK plugs and installed them moments ago. Reset the codes and started the engine. Within 1 minute I had the CEL and the P0351 - P0354 codes.
