Spark plug Bosch or NGK

NGK Spark plug

After taking out the plugs they were brown all 4 cyls I replaced them with NGK lasers and wow my car was so much more responsive and it would ride through every gear through high rpm without power cuts or jittering.

Pros: more responsive, no power cuts
Vehicle: Volkswagen

If you are having misfires under load, the first check is always ignition, i.e. spark plugs and coils (only factory coils and factory or NGK plugs in my experience).

Pros: factory coils recommended

Yes. However as a long time old car mechanic I learned the hard way some new cars are super picky about what spark plugs you put in them. It kind of caught me by surprise. Parts store gave me Bosch plugs their system matched to my GF's Pilot, and it fell on its face hard about a half hour into the next drive.

Pros: new cars picky about plugs
Cons: Bosch plugs caused issues
Vehicle: Honda Pilot

NGK Spark plug

I got 2 cheap sets of these online for a Honda idsi engine (8 iridium plugs required) they turned out to be fake and were burned out in 6 weeks causing it to misfire badly.

Cons: burned out in 6 weeks
Vehicle: Honda

I bought a NGK №6 4-pack for 20$ at local parts shop, After the replacement, engine problems began: loss of power, misfires, and severe vibration.

Cons: loss of power, misfires
