Shock absorbers Bilstein or Rancho

Bilstein Shock absorbers

You should go with bilstein 6112 in the front and 5100 in the rear. You can do 5100s in the front if you are budget limited. The pistons in the 6112 are thicker and drive a lot smoother.

Pros: smoother drive, thicker pistons

the car ride like a dream, the difference is night and day.

its very planted on the road before it was like a boat on fast turns, and i didn't even change the front shocks yet.

Pros: planted on the road
Cons: shocks were completely dead
Vehicle: Mitsubishi Pajero

Bilstien shocks are designed for off-road and to keep you on the ground at higher speeds. I love Bilstein.

Bilstein Shock absorbers

Bilstein B6 monotube shocks work only with stock ride height springs. With a chassis as light as the IS300, they’ll give you a much stiffer ride than the other options. Some drivers like it; but you may worsen traction on roads in poor condition. Comfort will similarly degrade. Their main advantages are that they won’t fade in prolonged aggressive driving and they last a long time.

Pros: won't fade, last long
Cons: stiffer ride, worsen traction, degrade comfort
Vehicle: Lexus
