Same plus a set of Bilstein HD's repaired our pathetic and unmanageable vanilla TDI.

I'm almost positive that the standard Mk4 Bilstein sports will work fine... They are perfect for the drop you get with H&R springs so it seems they be a perfect swap out with the 337's 1" inch drop.

Pros: perfect for the drop

A good starting point would be Sport Springs (Neuspeed Sport, H&R Sport) with Bilstein or Koni Adjustable shocks. The shocks will be the most expensive, but remember that they'll outlast the originals!

Pros: outlast the originals
Cons: most expensive

I think for the NS SofSports, the Bilstein HD's would actually be a decent, if slightly firm match. The SofSports, contrary to their name, are not soft springs. They are 30-45% stiffer than stock.

Pros: decent, slightly firm match
Cons: not soft springs
