I was worried about the ’26 CR-V Sport Hybrid headlights—no fog lights or steering-linked lights like my Subaru—but they’re actually really bright and clear. No regrets!
Hella. Premium quality, OE supplier for many carmakers
I just traded my '23 HR-V Sport AWD after 3 years and 61k miles.
Positives:
Mine was rock solid reliable, never had a repair other than one recall.
This is subjective, but I found it to be really good looking and comfortable.
Features like adaptive cruise and lane keep assist make long drives much less tiring.
Interior materials are pretty nice for the price point.
Negatives:
It doesn't have much power and gets decent, but not amazing gas mileage.
No rear heat/AC
Another subjective one, but I personally don't much care for the feel of the CVT.
Headlights come aimed too high and due to the design (inside pair of lamps are part of low-beams), people constantly flashed me at night, thinking my high beams were on. This got a lot better after taking ten minutes with a screw driver to aim the lamps down a bit.
I run the H4 conversions from HELLA and they have been great. A lot more light than the old sealed beams and retains the stock look unlike the dorky looking LEDs. I ran a relay harness so they get power direct from the battery.
it took me a whole 2 hours to change the headlights on my Honda.
Upgraded OEM style like hela. The og lights are effectively candles at this point.
Highness.\u00a0\n\n\nHeadlight throw was a problem for first week. Ever since I adjusted it for longer throw, I dropped plans for additional lights- more than enough for most rides.
Headlight throw is low. I recently learnt that you can adjust the throw angle by turning the screw on the side of the headlight.
Head light throw
Cb350rs. Poor headlight.
