Engine oil LIQUI MOLY or OEM Honda
I just use LiquiMoly 0W-20 with the VW spec
Liqui moly solved lifter noise on my old Kadett.
Liqui Moly Molygen 5w-40
I recently changed the engine and transmission oil in my car and opted for Liqui Moly, as from what I researched it withstands higher temperatures compared to the OEM.
I’ve personally been running Liqui Moly LL-04 5W-30 as this grade seems a lot better to be using in a high performance engine to induce longevity. Plus the gen 2 B58s don’t have the same oil pump issues as the gen 1.
My own experience: liquimoly Mos2 leichtlauf. The one with grey oil.
I’ve done testing on 0w20 and 0w30 and less wear metals in the 0w30. I’ll try 5w30 in the spring and see how that goes. Doubt I’ll see much difference unless the additive package is different than the 0w30. Both oils were liquimoly and changed at about 5k miles.
I always recommend Liqui Moly Leichlauf or High Tec oils.
I did an oil change with liquimolly 5w-40 and added liquimolly lifter additive, and drove it for a week hoping it would go away.
Start by getting rid of that junk liqui moly and replace it with ROWE RS 5w40 (i can link many kits if need be)
