Castrol Engine oil

Rating 5.0

After some research I heard people use 5w40 to quiet the motor down and lubricate the lifters better for high mileage engines. picked up some castrol edge 5w-40 and it runs buttery smooth, noticeably quieter and another big thing is oil consumption drops A LOT due to the oil being thicker and harder to burn or leak. I used to need maybe a quart a month now Ik down to half a quart a month.

Pros: runs buttery smooth, quieter
Cons: high mileage engines
Mileage: 200000 km
