I'd go with Luk. I personally have one behind a beefed up chevy 327 and have taught my kids stick with it and it's still going strong. And the shop I work for uses all Luk kits and I haven't seen one come back yet. For price, quality, and completeness of the kit they're awesome.

Pros: still going strong, good quality
Vehicle: Chevrolet

I ordered one from RockAuto for $370. This came in today, all logos are in the correct place, however they sanded off the Honda logo. Super excited to be clutch buzz free for half the price!

Pros: clutch buzz free, half price
Cons: Honda logo sanded off
Vehicle: Honda S2000

Let me know...main reason I went with Sachs was stock like driveability with no chatter and less chance of crank walk compared to other set ups with SMF and high torque pressure plates

Pros: stock like driveability, no chatter
Cons: less chance of crank walk

Luk Clutch kit

I know most of the posts here are showroom floor cars with a ots tune, not a ton of legit builders on these older cars, but i thought I'd share my experience with my B7 RS4 LUK rep set clutch. I put in a performance clutch on a B5 1.8t about 5-6 years ago after a build I did pushing around 450, immediately slipped on the "performance" clutch. couldn't hold higher load gears. Ended up swapping in a 240mm ECS RA4 single mass lightweight flywheel with a B7 RS4 clutch and Pressure plate. (Just have to drill the pilot holes on the pp out to 10mm and shim the flywheel out ~2mm or so for a EPIC low dollar performance clutch.) I've been thrashing this with everything from a much larger custom hybrid k04 @30 psi, an EFR 6758 turbo, A custom hybrid Holset hx35/hx40 pro (BIG turbski) bigger than my head and im a huge dude. Then a handful of small/medium frame (gt 2871r) and some pretty large T3/T4 hybrids with IE Tuscany rods on a 1.8t trying to find the sweet spot between performance and drive ability (read.. lag) this clutch has been absolutely beat. Absolutely. 2 step launches for years, clutch kicks, tons of dig launches and drags that cost me cracked rear subframes or destroyed transmissions (it's a transmission boneyard in my shed lol) I recently sheared my timing belt pulley clean off.. too much sauce, and pulled this motor again to throw a new head, turbo and transmission in. It's my stupid fun car. Was surprised to find this clutch disk in such good condition. TONS of life left in it. Cost like 150 bucks off rock auto. LUK repset B7 Rs4 clutch and pressure plate. For anyone looking to push some serious power, this is a SOLID option for the budget minded individual. I'm throwing one on my B5 S4 as well after seeing this. Was going to go big because it's a stg 3 at 27 psi and the stock clutch can't handle it, but after seeing this. And having made more power than that I am sold. Great upgrade if you need to replace your clutch. It is a 240mm clutch so make sure it fits or you'll need to upgrade your flywheel too. But dang.. I'm tickled pink

Pros: tons of life left, holds serious power, budget friendly, solid option
Vehicle: Audi RS4

I blame the part. I bought a Sachs 16v kit too, when I put a big spline tranny in my last diesel. Same thing happened in less than 5000 miles!!!! The rivet straight up FELL OUT!

Cons: rivet fell out

Mileage: 5000 km
