Here is the clutch kit I got directly from Sachs Germany ... VW Golf 7R Performance Clutch Kit SACHS - OE 06K141015C VW Golf 7 R Performance Clutch from SACHS, VW OE 06K141015C.
Single mass is dope. tad of noise with the 14lb fly but worth it.
I put a LUK clutch kit in and replaced all the seals and such not too long ago. Shifts fine, least for an 020 anyway.
If you are doing it yourself and would consider stock, you could go the route I went with my family's 2015 jetta TDI. Buy the OEM Sachs clutch kit and VW dual mass flywheel from FCP EURO and have a lifetime replacement warranty on all of the expensive wear items. I also installed the orifice delete. Clutch feel is great
VW Performance Clutch Kit - Sachs Performance KIT-883082001422 VW Performance Clutch Kit - Sachs Performance KIT-883082001422 www.fcpeuro.com Stock-ish feeling, no rattles in the bottom end, will hold all the torque you will be able to generate on a stage 1 car, and likely have the longest life due to material and full faced disc. I will likely be installing one on my car next year some time.
SACHS VW Performance Clutch Kit
Also around the same time new lower control arms came in from BFI with R32 and poly bushings installed, and a Sachs clutch kit.
Have a Sachs performance clutch kit... This kit works with the factory dual mass flywheel, and has a torque rating of 400 ft lbs. Clutch only has 9,000 miles...Can be used with 2008-2018 GTI or Golf with 6-speed manual 02Q trans, gas engine or TDI.
I've been buying the kits on eBay (munirater brand) and they say LUK on them, I'm guessing maybe someone is remanufacturing them, I can't imagine that they're selling LUK kits on eBay for $380. Or they are knockoff or counterfeit? They work fine.
So the clutch kit is a LUK complete kit along with fly wheel. New development as of last night. Got home and my son was waiting for me in the driveway. He told me that the clutch pedal basicly just goes to the floor.
