Brake pads WAGNER or Mintex

performance friction brake pads all around, or mintex is good

I have Zimmerman X-Drilled with Mintex red box pads...works well for me but rust in the X-Drilled holes annoys me to look at

Brembo slotted with the cad plating and Mintex Red Box pads. Great little combo. You won't really feel a significant difference from stock but there will be alot less brake dust.

I'll get the Mintex (less dust, I'm glad I'll soon dump those messy rear brake pads )

Mintex Redbox pads are less dusty than most. Many people here prefer them.

I would recommend going with Mintex Redbox brakepads for your car because they produce significantly less brakedust than the VW brand pads from the dealership, and cost less!!

My brakes on the front went at around 30K. I bought Zimmerman crossdrilled rotors, stainless brake lines, Mintex pads, and new fluid for all four wheels. I had the local Midas shop do the complete install for $200.

I got the mintex pads about a week after I got new wheels. I couldn't stand washing them every other day. If you're looking for low dust content, the mintex work really well. The disadvantage is that the pedal feel isn't as nice as stock.

I upgraded to Mintex redbox pads and ATE Powerdiscs on the car (Golf GL). After about 1/2 year, the pedal started vibrating - warped discs, I assume. Also, the brakes seem to lock up relatively easily.

The Mintex pads produce very little dust, but thier performance is little better than stock.
