I had the same problem with my c8 z51, I switched to the Carbotech 1521 pads and they solved the problem. Would definitely recommend

Yeah the W204 C63’s performance is still very relevant to this day. It was able to hang with the CT4V and beat the Golf R. The handling may not be as good as the M3’s but the straight line performance and brakes are awesome.

Pros: straight line performance, awesome brakes

I had an issue with severe brake dust from the OEM pads on my Z06 Corvette. I replaced the pads with Carbotech 1521s and the dust was eliminated. Made a huge difference with keeping the wheels clean and the pads preformed better.

Pros: dust was eliminated, pads preformed better

Cons: severe brake dust

I run carbotech 12/10 on my C5. Streetable but messy. I only really drive to track, on track, then home. Probably drive 100 street/leisure miles a year, but after 2 track days on this setup (wilwood aero6 in front) I’m very happy with the setup.

Pros: streetable, very happy

Cons: messy

I'm liking the Carbotech 1521 pads for their better heat tolerance and modulation over OEM pads, though I feel light initial bite is slightly less.

Pros: better heat tolerance, good modulation

Cons: light initial bite

Low dust brake pads. On my F87, I use Carbotech 1521. Slight decrease in initial brake bite, significant decrease in dust.

I use the XP10s on track. Highly recommend them. Since you don’t even have the Z51, likely the XP10s will be more than enough for you.

If you skipped maintenance on an E-Class it would be the exact same story. Bushungs, stabilization links, brake pads, rotors, etc.

My mechanic replaces them with OE Mercedes everytime my car needs new brakes. I ask him to use aftermarket and he keeps saying aftermarket pads squeak a lot. And guess what, my OE MB pads squeak like hell when I hit the brakes while reversing lol
