Brembo, bosh and a few others mentioned in another comment are all really good too.
I got the Bosche pads. I think they were in a higher category than daily but the front+back together ended up being cheaper then other brands I was looking at. Just make sure you get ones clearly labeled front or back, and Japan built.
I got BREMBO rotors and Bosch quiet cast pads, happy with the purchase.
I just put Brembos on my s60 and they are great.
I have 336mm factory Brembo pads/rotors and they have no issue bringing my moose to cornering speeds on track.
The Brembo brakes are a joy in the mountains, honestly. They get up to temp fast, just a few corners, and the already-good feel they have just goes to a next level of feedback and precision.
I was very happy with Bosch BP621 brake pads. It had excellent grip.
Look on rockauto, and look for the brand called bosch, they kick ass and are oem quality
They wanted like 3k for Brembo front brake pads and rotors for my scat pack at the dealership. I just got power stops instead and had them installed for less than 1/6th the price. The dealership told me Brembos are always on backorder so they jacked the prices, idk if that's the real case... But they were disgustingly expensive. Imo, the power stops feel the same and the rotors are holding up better. My brembo rotors warped before 20k miles of daily driving (mostly highway)
Every GM performance car I’ve had squealed until I dumped the OEM Brembo pads.
