I only use ATE. Just got new Pads and Dics in Front and Pads in rear on my m235i Brake dust is there but no to extreme.
I put ATE performance discs & ceramic pads on my e39. The discs won't make a difference but it's nice to pair up brands. Ceramic pads make a huge difference to the amount of dust though.
Cele mai bune placute aftermarket sunt ATE normale, ATE ceramic nu franeaza la fel de bine, dar tin mai multi km.
Ultima oara am schimbat doar placutele cu textar semi-metalice. Iarasi super miltumit. Nu simt nici o diferenta fata de Otto-Zimmerman.
Am avut textar, trw, trw ceramic, ate normal și ate ceramic. Dintre toate am fost cel mai mulțumit de ate ceramic. Praf aproape inexistent, frânare bună, preț decent
ATE Ceramic sunt bune. Praf aproape deloc.
I got genuine discs from ML performance for much much less than dealer prices, coupled with textar pads made to the same spec as M4 pads (M4 pads are also a drop in upgrade, I believe textar is OE for M4 pads), noticed minimal difference in performance though.
Sounds like way too much for a basic A200. For a dealership I guess it's normal but you can get equal quality ATE brakes for much less than the original Mercedes parts.
YES! i have the same issue and its mental. DBA Slotted Rotors and the Street Performance (Green) Pads, clunk over bumps and when moving back/forward D/R etc. Rattle is 99% from the left side / without the depth check. DBA said to extend the shims so they stick out further, and it works temporarily for about a day, then back to normal. Everyone is recommending the ATE pads, so I might try them, but if these rattle too not sure what to do...
