I went with the FCP euro replacement kit, the zimmerman rotors have been fine (another 35k on them), the texar pads work fine, but dust more than OEM

Pros: rotors have been fine
Cons: pads dust more
Mileage: 35000 km

R1 Concepts Brake discs

R1 concept is what I use, with the drilled and slowed with there performance pads, works very good and at a low cost , plus the rotors look awesome on the car.

Pros: low cost, works very good

Zimmermann Brake discs

When I got my car, it would roll on hills with the parking brake pulled all the way up. After the adjustment procedure and replacing the rotors, it works properly.

Pros: works properly after replacement
Cons: rolled on hills initially
Vehicle: BMW

Zimmermann Brake discs

I went with Zimmerman rotors and the TRW nano-compound pads as I've read they bite like metallic with maybe 2/3 as much dust.

Pros: good bite, less dust
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I just bought Zimmerman for my 17 alltrack. Have bought them before. Seem to be the best value of quality to price and easily available.

Pros: best value, easily available

I just bought zimmerman cross-drilled rotors for the fronts. Cross-drilled rotors are lighter but do not dissipate heat better (less material to soak up heat). Stock or slotted rotors are best for soaking up heat.

Pros: rotors are lighter
Cons: do not dissipate heat better
