Brake discs EBC or OEM Volkswagen

Full suspension upgrades - this car handles like a dream! new EBC racing/red brakes with drill/slot rotors.

I installed EBC slotted rotors and EBC yellow stuff pads about 3 years ago. I did both fronts and rears. Granted Ive only put on maybe 10k km (6k miles) since then. But stopping power has been fantastic.

My 24 OBW was suffering from the warped/pad transfer front rotor issue so I swapped them with EBC pads/rotors and they feel and perform great. I had this same setup on my 22 WRX and I was very happy.

EBC discs and pads have been fine on all my bikes and they're a British company - replace the pads at the same time as the new discs.

I have these rotors with EBC yellowstuff pads. So far so good.

I did EBC Premium rotors and yellow stuff pads and it was $1,800 at a shop.

My car started doing that at around 5000 miles. After a few visits to the dealership, they replaced all four rotors. From 60-0 miles, it would vibrate pretty badly and make humming loud noises. It was good for a few thousand miles, but it started to do it again.

Daily use? Don't waist your money. Just get the EBC RK2028 blank discs and yellow stuff pads separately.

Service from VW is what made me stop buying them. My wife's Passat was the last straw. We took it in a couple of months after we got the car complaining of a shake in the brakes through the steering wheel. They said it didn't have one even though I knew the rotors were warped.

I purchased a 2021 Jetta with approx. 14,xxx miles on it. After a 4 hour drive, I noticed what sounded like an extremely rusty brake rotor sound (metal/metal grinding) as well as the sound of an unbalanced wheel or un-evenly worn tire. A local VW dealership reported that both rear tires were showing major cupping and that the brake rotors were so rusted that they were pitting and would not pass VA state safety inspection.
