i was on the fence about buying them and i did a bunch of research and after speaking with my buddy who is a mechanic and owns a tundra he said that the powerstop brakes aren't great and if you don't have the money to do the tundra swap, to get the brembo rotors and either akebono or brembo pads. ive been driving with this setup for about six months and have had no issues. the braking feel and stopping power has noticeably improved.

Pros: improved braking feel, stopping power

Just installed stoptech slotted rotors f/r along with hawk hps 5.0, so far so good, quiet linear pedal response, not over boasted like stock, much less dust.

Pros: quiet linear pedal response, much less dust

The best stopping combination so far on my 08 sedan with 140K is Brembo UV Coated rotors and Advanced Auto Parts Carquest Wearever Gold Semi-Metallic Brake Pads Previously I had Zimmerman rotors and Hawk HPS pads, I got a grinding feeling/noise when stopping. The Carquest pads dust like OEM but for the stopping power and smoothness/linear feel I will put up with it.

Pros: stopping power, smoothness
Cons: dust like OEM
Mileage: 140000 km

I have StopTech drilled/slotted. Ive ran mine for about a year now, purchased through Rock Auto. Very happy so far with the quality and performance. Take a while to warm up but then they hook just fine & work great with my Hawk Ceramic pads for minimal brake dust. They have held up just as expected, no signs of rust ect. I do not daily the R, so these do not get daily abuse.

Pros: happy with quality, good performance
Cons: take a while to warm
Vehicle: Volkswagen

On my old '93 300ZX, my brakes were shot so I had specifically ordered Brembo (solid) rotors, Hawk HPS pads, SS brake lines and the blue performance brake fluid. honestly, I really never felt that the brakes were that much better than oem.

Pros: looked cool
Cons: not much better than oem
Vehicle: Nissan
