Purchased brake pads and rotors off of Rock Auto.
RAYBESTOS 982348FZN - Rotors
Night and day difference on the brakes.
Put the Raybestos ones on my 19 turbo 2 years ago and have been happy with them.
Dad used brembo on kadjar, expensive asf but worth it
Not at all worth it. Go on Rockauto and get ones from a reputable brand like Raybestos or Centric. They’re just as good if not better than OEM for like 1/4 the price.
Bought new 2004 Sienna XLE Braun handicapped conversion with 240K miles still going strong but only 14 mpg. Another 2004 Sienna Limited bought used in 2013 w/130K miles now 210K miles. I’ve replaced the suspension on both, added 3rd generation Big Brake calipers, Pads (use Akebono or Advics) and rotors (Fremax, Brembo, or Raybestos in order of quality) to get better braking, see SiennaChat for details.
Get the Akebono ProAct pads, and good quality rotors. I bought Brembo rotors last time, and they worked well.
I know nobody asked about parts, but I’ve been happy with Brembo and Zimmerman coated rotors, and ATE ceramic pads. They aren’t grabby like the stock setup but don’t seem any less strong. Smoother and easier to modulate.
I recently ordered a set of Raybestos rotors and pads and they are great for the money.
I keep having an issue with the disks warping, I decided "why not just let the dealer do it and go OEM?", they wanted over $600... for just FRONT rotors and pads, tiny Corolla brakes. I can get the quality Brembo kit for 1/3 of that.
I bought Brembo rotors from tirerack for my Toyota sienna. They warped shortly after.
