Brake discs Brembo or Detroit Axle

Brembo Brake discs

Went with Brembo UV coated rotors so they won't get rusty. Then, for pads, I went with EBC Reds on the front and Wagner ceramic on the rears. Stopping power is just like OEM pads without the awful awful awful brown brake dust. Night and day difference with the brake dust. Wheels look great for a longer time.

Pros: no rust, less brake dust
Mileage: 70000 km

I’ve been using Brembo for my E39. Just be careful that there are lower tier for Brembo, it is still original Brembo but without anti-corrosion coating. It got corroded after a month or so. The one that got coated is slightly more expensive but I’d go for that next time.

Pros: good quality, original Brembo
Cons: corroded quickly, uncoated
Vehicle: BMW

I have a 2008 Kia ProCeed and last year in April I changed front brake discs and pads. They were the most expensive parts I could get and are from Brembo which I know as being a good manufacturer of brakes. Anyway, after 6 months I started experiencing vibrations under braking which only grew stronger over time. I had the brakes checked at my local mechanic and he noticed both front discs were warped.

Cons: vibrations under braking, discs warped
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 15000 km
