My E39 rotors have lasted forever. They’re Brembo from rock auto with Aki Bono pads. Run the same set up on both of our E46’s as well

Pros: rotors lasted forever

I've recently installed the DBA Street Series - T2 Slotted. Very happy with them so far, early days, but DBA does have a good rep. Priced well too.

Pros: happy with them

Brembo Brake discs

I have an 18 340 ix with the msport track package. swapped mine out with Brembo blank rotors and Akebono euroceramic pads at 40k ( wasn’t necessary) but the OEM plus upgrade is worth it. The calipers on the Msport are a fantastic brembo but they use cheaper Zimmerman rotors.

Pros: OEM plus upgrade worthwhile
Cons: cheaper Zimmerman rotors
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 40000 km

Brembo Brake discs

NAPA now carries brembo catalog. I ask for a price to see if they can even come close to FCP euro. some brembo 2 piece rotors for my car is what I had them run.

Cons: expensive compared to FCP
Vehicle: Mercedes

DBA Brake discs

Oh when I got high carbon DBA rotors with PMU pads the screeching was unbearable for street driving, track was fine with all the hard braking, but light breaking around town…..screeeeeeech.

Pros: track was fine
Cons: unbearable screeching
Vehicle: Nissan
