Battery Tesla or OEM KIA

I'm going to turn 230k miles on my 2018 model 3 tomorrow. The only time it has been to a service center is when the 12v battery died on a road trip. Other than that, I've put tires on it. I'm at about 21% degradation but everything still runs as it should. I'm hoping to get to 300k miles on the original battery.

The battery in my EV6 lasts longer than my wife’s bladder can hold on a road trip and the speed of charging means that by the time we’ve headed into the services, toilet, maybe grab a coffee and we’re back at >80% basically every time. In good conditions we get 300 miles to a full battery, worst I’ve had is 260 and that’s with AC, heated seats, not driving like a granny etc.

I have 2014 Tesla 85 s that I bought a year and half ago . It had 95,000 miles on it. It now has 117,000 on it. Original battery. Still going strong.

Die ersten 5% habe ich innerhalb eines Jahres verloren, danach ging es sehr langsam. Ich habe den Akku nur vor längeren Strecken ganz voll geladen, ansonsten eher so bis 70%.

Der SoH von Papas eNiro 64kwh (2020) ist laut OBD Dongle nach 100.000km noch bei ca 96%. Bisher keine merklichen Reichweitenverluste. Kommt soweit wie am ersten Tag.

I have an early VIN 2020 MYP with 80,000 km; the diagnostic says 87%, so 13% drop in battery health. Range calculation at 100% SOC dropped 4.9%.

Yes, my 2021 battery died mid 2024. No warnings, no abnormal behaviour. Luckily it was still under warranty and the towing and repairing were free.

I recently had to sell my 2013 model s for scrap value because the battery was out of spec. Tesla wanted 25k to replace. It was right at 200,000 miles.
