Pirelli Tires

I had an e46 with a set of P-Zero Nero's years ago so perhaps things have changed but mine were great, kicked the shit outta those garbage Michelins that were on there

Pros: great tires

Hankook Tires

Rating 4.0

I started with the khumos on a wind AWD, have the hankook’s now. The hankooks are way better in standing water/rain, and are stiffer overall. This leads to a little more road vibration but is not a major complaint. The khumos also wore out faster. Efficiency wise the hankooks are very very close but slightly less

Pros: better in rain, stiffer
Cons: more road vibration
Vehicle: Kia

Pirelli Tires

Personally, I’ve never had any issues with any consumer pirelli tire I’ve ran before. Their ice zeros are great on my wrx in winter.

DUNLOP Tires

I'm planning to try the Dunlop Ensave in 195/65R15 because its the only eco focused tire in that size I can find that weighs under 17lbs.

Pros: eco focused, lightweight

Nokian Ones have worked out well in both my EV 2018 and EUV 2022. Better traction, ride and very very slight loss in range in my EUV.

Pros: better traction, better ride
Cons: slight loss in range

DUNLOP Tires

The stock dunlops are actually a pretty good summer tire, they just wear fast, but their grip in the dry once they warm up is pretty good.

Pros: good grip in dry
Cons: wear fast
Vehicle: Subaru

Rating 3.0

They are pretty hard tires. Loud, slip in the rain if you give it enough gas, don't feel as solid in a corner. But you'll get better gas mileage on them than a sport tire and they will take much longer to wear out.

Pros: better gas mileage, longer wear
Cons: loud, slip in rain

Rating 2.0

I’ve had these for about 18 months / 15K miles on my 18’ AWD LX and I can’t say I’m a fan. Although they are amazing in the rain. I ironically wish for rain sometimes for longer trips because they drive SO much better on wet pavement compared to dry.

- The road noise is ridiculous on an AWD model.

- They’re wearing very fast for tires with only 15K.

- Drop in fuel efficiency once installed (~2MPG drop).

- Rocks, twigs, and everything else you can imagine get stuck in the grooves and can lead to a rough ride.

Pros: amazing in the rain
Cons: road noise is ridiculous
Vehicle: Honda
Mileage: 24140 km
