I was looking for the same and landed on Falken Rubitrek. Love them. Road noise increased a little bit over the factory all season tires but it was negligible. I did take an MPG hit but that is true of any all terrain tires. I went one size up and 10 ply so unsprung weight went up. Get about 17mpg highway now with my 3.5 EB

Michelin Defender LTX M/S2. Top notch whether towing or prowling the town. Tough, quiet, very smooth ride. Due to lighter weight, one to two mpg more than OEM Hanook crapola.

Actually pretty good on snow.

EDIT: I bought Hankook Winter i\*cept RS3s, they are silent comparing to Kinergy Eco 2. I am happy that I did not buy allseason for winter, this year seems to be more almost ice roads then previous years, these feels good even on wet road.

Just picked these up a set of these same speck as yours for my MK7.5 GTI I had to run a 5mm rear spacers to avoid rubbing on the rear OEM shocks and passenger gas filler neck and wheel liner with Michelin PS4S tires 245/40/18 square set. Fronts fit okay wider fenders might help.

The best tire I have found is Nitto Grappler A/T. The set I’m on now has 77,000+ miles on them and I’m expecting to reach between 80 to 85.

If you’re dealing with rough roads and gravel check out the dunlop mutants. I have them on my mt09 and i love them. They handle great in the twist and not afraid to bomb a dirt road. Great tire ill buy again and again

I have over 10k (km) on a michelin pilot road 5 and it can finish this season with it. Definitely getting another one next year. Great tiers

I installed 4 Cooper Adventure Tour tires at PepBoys back in March 2022 and drove on them, in my 2018 Corolla, until Nov 2023 when I got an unrepairable nail in the driver's side front tire. I drove about 41K miles on them before the nail, with about 75% on the freeway/highway.

I just took goodyear Kevlar MTRs off my truck last week, I only got 15k miles out of them and they were worn out. Worst tire I’ve ever had.
