The All Weather Nokia tires are awesome. I bought them for a Ford Fusion as I wanted something for winter but didn't want to do the swapping of two sets of tires and rims, and those worked great for the 4 years I drove the Fusion in Edmonton. They handled great in winter and held up in summer.

Continental DWS06 are hands down my favorite all season tire. I have lived in PA, FL and NC and it's always my go to choice for an all season tire. Super quiet.. last forever and grippy.. what else can you ask for?
I drive with WRGs on my Lancer. They're amazing, but don't expect ice grip that's comparable to a true winter tire.
Having said that, the great thing about WRGs is that they're \*absolutely amazing\* at preventing hydroplaning during the summer months.
Highly recommended.
I just put the Bridgestone Potenza RE980AS on my Alltrack (225/45/18) and I really like them.
I have Falken FK510s on my car (2008 Si on 18" Wheels) and i like them. I've you they have excellent grip in both wet and dry conditions and noise levels are good to. I like them better then the ventus evo 12's that came on my car when i got it. It's a very good tire for the money, I definitely recommend them.
i have yokohama s drive on my 86. seem good for the cheap price
I've owned both. The Evo is okay, but terrible in the wet and a little noisy. The 510 is a shockingly good tire for Falken. I definitely recommend those.
I would suggest Michelin Defenders, my JSW had them on for 35,000 miles and look great when I traded the car back to VW.
2015 MK7-R purchased June 2015, now has 6900 miles with Bridgestone (130 Treadwear-RIDICULOUS), rotated at 6500 at Discount tire, 7/32 in front and 8/32 in the rear. Mostly city driving, only 4.5 miles to work.
These tires have 17k miles on them in the city and are completely useless now. It feels like I am driving in my Jeep offroad. The car literally pitches and rolls at low speeds; at highway speeds it vibrates badly.
