Nordman North 9's (off brand Hakkas) doing great as always
Owner reviews for tires
My putt putt TDI gets around good in Edmonton on a set of Hakkas. Yall should be fine haha
I’ve done tires, tint, rust proofing (fluid film), dash cam, tailgate assist, and a few other minor things I may be forgetting.
I’ve got Pirelli Sotto Zero snow tires. Rated comparably to Blizzaks. Do fantastic in snow; we had a foot in NE Ohio and I was silly enough to go out during it. Was fine.
I have the Michelin CrossClimate 2s on my car. Amazing tire, I love the handling but they are LOUD.
For a Corolla, mixing one odd tire isn't the end of the world, but if you've already got one Sailun on there, paying the extra $100 to make all four match is usually worth it just for consistent grip and braking especially since you're in NJ and see winter nastiness. Sailuns aren't fancy but they're totally fine for daily driving
Ironman and milemaker are the last two sets and they lasted about 75% of what a premium brand would.
Your best mileage will come from a low rolling resistance tire. I use Ecopias by Bridgestone. I had Weatherpeaks on before that and had noticeably worse fuel efficiency (8-10 mpg difference.)
They're crap. Had them new in '21 and was ready to ditch them first winter. We run Vredestein Quatrac Pro+ all seasons and they are phenomenal.
The belt is broken. I’ve had this once with my caravan. That was a very bad quality Matador tyre after 1500 km’s.
