I just got my 2015 Accord V6 (J35Y1) timing belt kit replaced at 112,000 with an AISIN kit which is a rock solid OE timing belt kit. I am very happy and confident with it.

Interval is 60k miles (100k km) or 5 years. If the belt let's go, so do your valves and maybe a piston. Buy only Gates complete timing belt kits from a genuine vendor.

Pros: prevents engine damage, reliable kit
Vehicle: Hyundai Tiburon
Mileage: 100000 km

OEM Subaru Timing belt kit

Have the same car, parts should be about $350 if you want 100% OEM parts: Labor seems right and reasonable to me, parts just seem to expensive.

Pros: reasonable labor
Cons: expensive parts
Vehicle: Subaru

DAYCO Timing belt kit

I had a Dayco belt kit done on mine and after a year the belt started rubbing against the timing cover causing an RPM whine. Ended up switching to OEM from another shop and that's since resolved my issues.

Cons: belt rubbing, RPM whine
Vehicle: Subaru Impreza WRX
