It is true that is is best to use either factory parts or a "kit" by Aisin (available from Rock Auto) includes everything but the drive belt that does the alternator & A/C compressor. Aisin manufacturers parts for Honda & Toyota.

Pros: includes everything, good quality
Vehicle: Honda Odyssey

AISIN Timing belt kit

Bought a decently priced timing belt kit for my 03' accord coupe, think under $250 if I'm not mistaken was an aisin brand it's held up pretty good being that aisin is the oe manufacturer for the water pumps installed in these cars i felt pretty good putting this in. It's been about a year and no issues car runs strong and purrs like a kitten @283k miles

Pros: car runs strong, no issues
Vehicle: Honda Accord

I like the Continental kit (sometimes called Conti-tech, which I *think* is the same thing). I have not encountered any issues with this kit and have used it to replace TB/WP on four NAs so far. I just bought one that will be going into my NB soon.

Pros: no issues, reliable fitment
Vehicle: Mazda
