MOOG sells tie rods for almost every application with grease fittings, MOOG tie rods are fairly cheap considering you are able to extend the life and get much more use out of them.

Pros: grease fittings, extend life, more use, fairly cheap

I started getting a clicking sound so another user on Facebook posted his tie rods was the culprit so sure enough mine were bad too. Ordered these Dorman ones from RockAuto for about $50 shipped for both sides. This is my driver side which was far worse than my passenger. Car feels so much better and clicking is gone!

Pros: improved ride comfort, clicking sound eliminated

I put Delphi inner and outer tie rods on my base 02 a month or two ago. They’ve been fine since, for what it’s worth.

Pros: fine performance

I've struggled with this on my mkv gti and with my mk7 golf r, shops rarely seem to take care to get the steering wheel centered when they align it.

This happened to me in my F150 driving at about 40mph. In an instant my truck started bucking from it like I was instantly put on the back of a pissed off bull. I was able to safely stop and thankfully neither I nor my passenger was hurt.

Pros: safely stop
Cons: truck started bucking
Vehicle: Ford

MOOG Tie rods

I replaced inner and outer tie rods, both sides, myself (Moog parts from Rock Auto, they weren't cheap). Smooth sailing until the brakes started shaking again at about 8k miles after the replacement. What are the chances of high-quality parts failing so early?

Cons: premature failure, brake shaking
Vehicle: Toyota
Mileage: 12875 km
