I can still rip sweepers at 120mph like my friend with Bilstein B6's, but my car rides so much better over the small uneven bits of pavement.

Just put on a new set of Bilstein 4600's and am liking it. Feels stock and back to new again. Not too stiff, but certainly not squishy like the old worn ones.

I am running Koni special active on my 2018 Alltrack, which is also riding on Golf R Estate springs. I like the ride, firm but not harsh. I had them installed after driving a friend's Alltrack that had the Koni special actives.

I just did Bilsteins on my 2500 burb. They work great.

Yes B4's should help.

Drader has swapped for B6s in the rear of his Alltrack so has 1st hand experience with it's effects.

I went with B6 rear shocks and slightly bigger RSB. Was super happy with the balance until I added air bags (Air Lift) in the rear. They are great when the car is loaded with camping gear & bikes (prevents sagging but), but when empty, the handling is pretty unbalanced between front and rear (even when AirLift bags are at their minimum PSI).

I did Koni Yellows set to softest dampening and H&R Sport Springs. Amazing handling, nice comfy ride.... until the roads get rough and they do frequently in CT. Manhole covers which always seem to be a mile below the surface are horrible... yes I always try and avoid but sometimes you can't.

Please note that all bushings etc are OEM Mercedes parts but the shock absorbers are pedders brand.

I'm using bilstein b4's and when I put it all back together I ended up with over a fist of tire to fender gap and am trying to figure out how to fix this. Previous ride height was like 2 or 3 fingers between the tire and arch.
