They fit! No rubbing anywhere. What a difference. Win, win. Handles just as good, so much smoother.
Owner reviews for shock absorbers
I've got the same shocks, very nice ride.
Rancho RS5000x are about $200 for a set of 4 and they are a much better product than Skyjacker hydros. Highly recommend them.
I have the Koni active shocks on the back, along with a Nuespeed rear sway bar and can definitiely tell the difference.
Side note, the wife's 12 tig has a rear shock going out. Factory shock/struts with aftermarket H&R sport springs. Those factory shocks lasted 100k miles with the shorter springs!!
I put Rancho 7000? Mono tubes on our 2010 and 5100s on our 2012. Both our great and will last 100k miles.
I run Bilstein 5100s on my 2500. They're a big improvement over stock, but don't expect to get a plush ride
Bilstein 5100's have been the best shock I've ever used on a truck. I've had Fox shocks, even with remote reservoirs... and I'd still take the 5100's.
I put KYB's in my 924S and they were fine on Hawai'i's questionable roads.
I initially replaced my front structs and rear shocks with KYB Excel-G parts as they “seemed” to have good ratings and reviews as “good” shocks. The ride quality is now more “rough” and “bouncy” since apparently these shocks/struts are more stiff.
