Years ago when I bought my truck used the check engine light came on about a week after I bought it I took it to my local dealer and they told me it was a bad fuel pump I purchased an aftermarket warranty for my vehicle, but they only wanted to pay for an aftermarket one. The manger explicitly told me you better put in a factory one or you’ll eventually be miserable down the road i’m glad I listened to him and paid for the difference because it’s still good all these years later.
