Reviews of OEM BMW fuel pump

Skip the n63 tu tu2.

They're all crap.

Gave it some stick and ended up needing two fuel pumps and 8 injectors at 5000£, which I managed to make BMW pay for.

Headlight gaskets went headlights started filling with water.

Lhd steering column gasket went floor of car filled up with water, had to have the interior out.

Brakes warped

Constant battery drain issues

While I loved the car the constant problems made it a nightmare to live with.

my e39 530i is pushing it for me... I've been great maintaining it and today it starved itself of fuel somehow on the highway. No clue what's doing it other than the fuel pump stops.

It was just twice unplanned in the workshop, once a broken fuel pump.

Just recently replaced the fuel pump, tie rod ends and a left front spring and had to do some engine head work, replacing the exhaust valves, valve stem seals etc. and replacing the VANOS, everything straight off the shelf, only item the shop had to order was the spring since my car is still on the original M-Sport suspension.
