I added the fog lights and they do help in some situations. Mine would light up a wider angle than the headlights which helps on dark windy roads. One night I had a headlight go out and the other got super dim so being able to flip on the fog lights was a lifesaver and provided plenty of light to get home.

Pros: wider angle, lifesaver

I also like the Hellas over the other aftermarket lights (except for maybe something like KC) because of their beam pattern. Super nice cutoff and it's not as blinding to other drivers with the fog beam pattern.

Pros: super nice cutoff, not blinding

On my 2016 I just did the Morimoto HID conversion for lows and Lumawerx LED’s for high beams. Morimoto LED fogs too. Amazing quality.

Pros: amazing quality

Can't believe the difference it makes. Got the morimoto deal and got the 4banger fog lights for free. May be a bit of adjusting to do but I absolutely love the look.

Pros: noticeable difference, great look
Cons: may need adjusting

OEM Subaru Fog lights

Rating 4.0

I did this a few years ago. Fog lights. Yes. Worth it. The Subaru kit. No. I ended up buying all the parts separately from the dealer except the fog lights. It ran me about 150 for all the parts. I bought nice led fog logs for a lot cheaper and only spent a total of 250 for everything.

Pros: worth it
Cons: Subaru kit no

Have a ‘22 wilderness. I got flashed pretty much every night I drove the car, especially if I had the fogs on. Took it back to the dealer to have aiming checked. They said it was perfectly aimed.

Pros: aiming was checked
Cons: frequent flashing
Vehicle: Subaru Forester

Aftermarket LED’s will be considerably cheaper than OEM. Plus those OEM fog lights look to be halogen bulbs which you won’t even notice on the road when turned on. I got Morimoto LED fogs for my STI and they were about $200 CAD if I remember correctly.

Pros: considerably cheaper
Cons: won't even notice
Vehicle: Subaru
