Yes this is proper. If deleted don’t worry too much about the 507, i believe 505 will still work. Afaik the euro spec for Pennzoil is about the ash levels. I usually put in liquimoly 4200, but i was an awful amout low between changes when i checked last so I got 5 litres of this for 40 bucks canadian which was a steal. Topped it off and no problems.

Pros: no problems, good price

Mobil Engine oil

My daughter has a 2016 Civic bought new. First oil change was at 200mi with Mobil1 Extended, and then oil/filter changes at 15,000 or 20,000 mile intervals until 86,500. Switched to Restore and Protect and after 1k miles I changed the filter and cut it open, there were zero sludge deposits, and oil color looked new.

Pros: zero sludge deposits, oil new
Vehicle: Honda Civic
Mileage: 86500 km

Valvoline restore and protect oil or shell rotella t6 oil....

The t6 diesel oil has all the detergents you need to maybe clean out the rings. (And meet the more stringent european standards).

Pros: detergents to clean rings

Castrol Engine oil

I use the Castrol 10w50 that the dealer gives me for my 18 RS. I have clutch slip issues and it seems to keep it mostly under control vs Motul 7100 or 300V

Pros: keeps clutch slip under control
Cons: clutch slip issues

Shell Engine oil

Rating 1.5

I did use the Shell T6 Rotella 5W40 for 4 OCI's and then got a misfire issue. When my mechanic was going thru the possible symptoms he asked what oil i used. When i told him it's a full synthetic deisel truck oil he shook his head and said that not a good idea. Too thick, and that could have an impact.

Cons: caused misfire issue, too thick for engine
Part number: T6 ROTELLA 5W40
