I use BlackVue dashcams in all my cars, 7 years on the oldest one. The front and back cameras on the newer models are upto 4k or upto 120 fps. They can be hardwired in so they function automatically with a parking mode and battery monitor so it won't drain battery. They have gps, and you can set them up with cloud and lte subscription so that you can remotely access/track/view from anywhere.

I have a BlackVue 750 in my ‘19 installed right after I got it and its quality is great and I highly recommend it but it is pricey.

Thinkware is the best quality dashcam, although they are pricier than other dash cams. But I install Thinkware on all my cars, front and rear.

Blackvue 750. I had it installed. Super clean look. Getting vids off of it is pretty easy.

I bought the VIOFO VS1 last month and it’s working well so far. No screen on the back but I actually like that as it’s less of a distraction when driving… and you just pull the video off via the WiFi connection when you need it.

Got the Garmin dashcam mini2 Installed. Nice that Garmin makes the power source from the OBDII port so no hack wiring was needed. I can't even see it from my driving position. The Garmin app is pretty useful too

I’ve had my Thinkware F800 Pro for almost 6 years now, it’s been installed in 3 diff cars and worked great in all of them. Dual channel (front and rear cams), motion detection, parking mode, the works with 1080p vid quality.

I have a Viofo a229 Duo in mine. It looks okay.

The reality is that Porsche's dashcam isn't as good as many aftermarket alternatives that are easier to install. If you still can, return the camera and get a different dashcam. It sucks to lose the money from the pre wiring but it's still cheaper and better than having Porsche install the OEM one.
