The cooling system in my 8 is completely stock and being a stock 8 of course the coolant level sensor doesn’t work.

This porsche has a coolant level sensor issue. Your coolant is low and the sensor is not telling you. Literally just add coolant and it will fix the issue. I had the same exact issue.
I have also tried three different level sensors (My original, and new Febi and new JPGroup). I would hope that’d be good enough, but if you’re saying these sensors all suck and all leak coolant through the pins, and it’s a crapshoot, I don’t know what to say to that.
