I don’t think I’ll run a different tire on my crosstrek again

So for I like them more than the ko2s. They seem more quite over the ko2s. I think they are a thicker ply tire than the ko2s and can support more weight as well. I get about 20mpg hwy at 79mph.

Hated my toyos.

Anecdotal, but I bought a 2022 CX5 earlier this year and it came with Toyo tires on it. My rear driver side tire literally BLEW UP while I was driving 75mph to work at 4 in the morning. It was so bad that there was nothing left of the tire except a couple inches of the side wall around the wheel. I had 8200 miles on the tires.

I don’t share the same disdain for them that everyone else on this sub though. Our CX-5+stock tires is still 10x quieter than the Honda Accord+Pirellis that it replaced.

On our 2016 I had to ditch the Toyos at 19k because I drove down a gravel driveway and popped one when a piece of gravel went through them... They are so bad.

I just replaced the OEM tires on my 2019 @ 44k miles. The Toyos would have never gotten me through the first snow.

I was originally looking at the new Toyo Observe GSi6 for my winter tires to replace my 6 yo Blizzak DMV2. After further research, I found that the GSi6 tested at or near the bottom of winter tires. Very disappointing for a new tire IMO.

I run Open Country 3's on my truck, and these tires are just too loud. They do not like the Arizona freeways, highways, and any asphalt road. When I do get on dirt, it is best, but there are too damn loud in my book.

If you’re looking for a great off-road, snow tire that’s also good on pavement and doesn’t hum like crazy might I recommend the Toyo open country AT 3.
