I really like the StopTech rotors I had, but they have gone up in price significantly over the years.
I swapped over from the oem Brembo pads and rotors to project mu pads and Stoptech rotors and it was a definitely worth the upgrade. I got the type PS pads they offer which has less dust than the oem pads, no noise and way better braking performance. Super easy to modulate and paired with 200tw tires your braking confidence goes through the roof and you can really late brake and trail brake easily.
I have Stop Tech slotted rotors on the front, still new in box for the rear. Same thing with stainless braided lines.
I’m getting slotted stop tech rotors for my 09 Corolla XRS. Gonna hit some back roads, I’m a very aggressive driver and and very hard on my breaks, also want to do hard backroad driving, so I will benefit from the slotted rotors.
Went with stop tech two piece slotted rotors and EBC yellow pads when I got my 2015 DSG a few years ago. No complaints but there are better pads out there than EBC. First 3-5k miles the yellows squeaked at a 6/10 level probably.
For fun daily driving, I’ve got stainless steel brake lines, stoptech rotors (slotted in front) and Carbotech pads that I absolutely love. Highly recommended!
It depends on the brand. I got some stop tech rotors from Amazon no issues
I got Stoptech slotted and drilled rotors for like $250, and their carbon ceramic middle pads for like $150 front and rear. They are awesome.
Just finished installing these. Added EBC blue stuff and APR lines. Motul 600 fluid. I should add I did the same in the back but just went with one-piece stoptechs. notes: they are awesome and to top it off they do look amazing.
I have stop tech slotted rotors, EBC green stuff pads, ECS stainless steel lines.. (custom SBK) I like them a lot and have had a couple shops tell me they like them to .. need to do legit fluid and I’ll be set.
