I recommend K&N. Some say it helps the car feel sportier (not really that noticeable imo), but you can buy the cleaning kit (about $20) and reuse the filter. It’ll help you stay on top of maintenance since it’s a lot easier to clean it 2-3 times a year as opposed to buying a brand new one 2-3 times a year. You can clean the filters so many times with the cleaning kit too.

I bought the washable K&N’s now I just wash em when they look dirty

I bought two K&N filters so I don’t have to wait for it to dry I believe the part# is VF2033 I don’t remember what I paid for the them at the time. $40ish bucks but I don’t have to buy another one for a long time

I put one in probably 7k miles ago, no issues thus far. I didn't do a whole cold air intake, just the box filter replacement.

I put one in, about 4k miles ago. Just needed a new filter figured why not. Helps with some of the hesitation the cars have, no issues.

A great aftermarket filter like a K an N reusable filter can be great especially if you plan on keeping the car forever. You buy a cleaning and oiling kit. The other option is to buy a good quality aftermarket disposable one.

I bought the K&N replacement filter. I also removed this extra mesh that’s almost like it’s plastic welded on the engine side of your intake. Either way, butt dyno said I gained at least 1hp. And there is a little more intake noise which I like.

I use one in all my vehicles. My partners Subaru is at 130k miles and my Highlander was at 197k miles before i traded it in. Both had no issues and after that many miles in a dusty environment, I certainly saved $$$ by not buying disposable ones.

I put the KN in my 2019 mini cooper s, better performance noticed. Nothing huge though.
