OEM KIA Cabin filter

As a 2022 EV6 owner with almost 70k miles on it, I have to share that it is an excellent vehicle. The ADAS is great and has saved my bacon a few times. The ICCU is original and I have had relatively few visits to the dealer. Only a set of tires, cabin filter, and an AGM 12V battery needed for maintenance

Pros: excellent vehicle, ADAS is great
Cons: few visits to the dealer
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 112654 km

OEM KIA Cabin filter

Changing the cabin air filter is the easiest maintenance you can do on the EV9. There are a few covers to pull out in the frunk and no tools required. You could do it yourself in under 5 minutes for the cost of a new filter.

Pros: easiest maintenance, no tools required
Vehicle: Kia

OEM KIA Catalytic converter

Around August 12th my son was driving my vehicle and my motor blew!! I was truly lucky they were able to to get Kia to replace motor but the damage was already done to my catalytic converter so they said I had to replace that!

Pros: motor replaced by Kia
Cons: catalytic converter damaged

OEM KIA Fuel injector
xoxomarina
  • Acceleration:
Rating 1.0

Back in December, when I had only 36k miles, I went to accelerate on the highway and the check engine light started FLASHING. I got a P0301 Cylinder 1 Misfire code, which ended up being my fuel injector failing open, which Kia covered under warranty, including an oil change for the contaminated oil.

Cons: fuel injector failing, cylinder misfire
Vehicle: Kia
Mileage: 36000 km

I just had the ignition coils blow on my ‘23 at just 29k miles. While out of state. It’s been a nightmare dealing with Kia customer service because the part was back ordered.

Cons: coils blew at 29k miles, part back ordered
Vehicle: Kia Sportage
Mileage: 46671 km
