I had to buy the RTL and it wasn’t until I signed all the paperwork that I realized there was no sensors on that trim. And since my last few cars had them I just got use to them and I miss them lol

I’ve never owned a truck before so I asked my buddy if the sensors were worth it (he has a Trailsport) and he said they’re basically useless so i went with a Sport trim
The parking sensors are the only reasons my wife will drive the Ridgeline.
I use them to get as close to our hedges against the house as I can so its easier for the family to walk around to get to their vehicles. Other than that I've never bothered to get close enough to anything for them to go off. Was it worth it? No
I have the 2033 RTLE with the sensors. They work great, but the fronts are aimed to the sides not in front of the truck.
I can honestly say I never use them. I use my mirrors to park, and even only use the backup cam to see how far back in a space I am. I've had my Ridgeline for 5 years and have never felt I needed to use the parking sensors.
