I went ahead and replaced my starter when it sounded like that. Noise hasn\u2019t come back since.

If your battery is draining and/or this happens on every start, replace the starter. Had similar issues and replaced the starter and car starts way smoother now.
My previous Accord coupe had its original windshield replaced with an aftermarket one after a minor collision. The car's camera for lane departure and collision avoidance wouldn't work properly with the aftermarket windshield, even after calibration. A Honda Service Bulletin confirmed the need for genuine Honda OEM windshields. After replacing the aftermarket one with a genuine OEM Honda windshield, and calibrating the camera, the driver assist warnings worked perfectly. I insist on a genuine Honda OEM windshield!
For headlights there a tons of options. Personally I went with an OEM style with black housings, but you can find a bunch on ebay. Just be prepared for the clearcoat to wear out on them after 3 or so years if it lives outside.
Seeing this makes me glad that I changed out both ball joints on my daughters 2007 Accord.
I still had to replace bushing and shock absorbers at around 200K km. That’s normal for all makes, our roads a full of potholes and too much salt is spread in winter.
Timing belt is annoying, but not a deal breaker and makes for slightly quieter operation.
Ours has been trouble free until 100k miles when the injector issue happened. I’m hoping the replacement injectors are better than the original ones so I don’t have to do it again.
3 yrs on a Honda battery had me smh honestly.
Worst of all, the Honda 1.5T is notorious for clogging fuel injectors so you're almost guaranteed to have to replace them before 100K.
