Have the Wildpeak AT3W on my half ton truck for driving year round. Alberta winter conditions included. Quiet, excellent traction, good tread life. Priced competitively as a bonus. I’d be silly not to buy these again.

To answer OP question, probably BF Goodrich Rugged Trail TA. Didn’t last and developed cracks prematurely. Also Toyo Open Country C/T are noisy as hell.

Pros: quiet, excellent traction
Cons: didn’t last, cracks

Falken Wildpeaks are the worst A/Ts I've run. Hard as hell and sketchy in the rain. I only had 20k ish miles before I sold them, but they were progressively getting louder.

Cons: hard, sketchy in rain
Mileage: 20000 km

Ran Wildpeak A/T on my 2012 Wrangler. Absolutely loved them. Rode great, great traction, very little road noise. Put almost 55K on them before trading the Wrangler in on a new truck.

Pros: rode great, great traction
Cons: none
Mileage: 55000 km

Mine were down to 50% tread and didn't have enough traction on snow at ~20k miles. If you drive on serious snow, consider getting rid of them by 15 to 20k miles.

Cons: not enough traction
Mileage: 32187 km

My Crosstrek Limited came with the same Falkens. They were performing poorly in the wet when only half worn. I replaced them at 23k miles when they had 4/32" before winter.

Pros: quiet, good in dry
Cons: poor wet performance
Vehicle: Subaru
Mileage: 37015 km

I used the 615k+ last summer they were great for multi purpose use. I did a few track days (6) and daily drove them all summer. Warm up is almost instant, they do fine in the wet. I'll be purchasing another set when track days pick up again.

Pros: almost instant warm up, fine in the wet

We had heavy snow and ice this week where I live, and I am thoroughly unimpressed with the stock Falken Ziex tires on our 2024 Forester. Terrible traction in the snow. They are also wearing way faster than any other tires I've owned.

Pros: null
Cons: terrible traction, wearing fast

I recently switched from LT Toyo at3s to "SL" Falken at4ws. IMO the xterra is not heavy enough for the LT tires, it rides and drives so much better with the lighter sidewalls of the falkens, as well as feeling more responsive from less rotating mass.

Pros: better ride, more responsive
Cons: less offroad capability
Vehicle: Nissan

I have the LT version in that exact size. They are surprisingly great on bitumen with hardly any road noise which is great for your use case. Currently at 35k and no noticeable wear at all with mostly bitumen use. They seem like new.

Pros: great on bitumen, hardly noise
Cons: no noticeable wear
Mileage: 35000 km
